The Byre has been thoughtfully furnished and decorated by our in-house interior designer to ensure you feel at home from the moment you arrive. With a private entrance directly from the driveway, the Byre opens into a welcoming sitting room, with the bathroom and bedroom conveniently located off a small corridor.

Please note that the Byre is situated adjacent to the A415 Kingston Road, and some traffic noise is to be expected, especially during peak commuting hours. If you are a light sleeper, this may not be the ideal choice for you. However, rest assured, you will have complete privacy in your own cottage, with no disturbance from other guests. We encourage you to review our Airbnb feedback, which may help ease any concerns about the noise.

As the Byre does not include a kitchen, we offer a daily dish replacement service. Simply place any used dishes in the provided basket outside, and we will ensure they are replaced with clean ones each day.

Light and spacious living room

As you enter, you'll find yourself in our inviting living room, where floor-to-ceiling windows keep the space bright and airy. The room retains the charm of the 200-year-old barn with its period features.
Relax on the comfy sofa while enjoying the large smart TV and superfast Wi-Fi. We’ve also provided a dining table and chairs, perfect for enjoying your meals or sipping your morning coffee.

Refreshment facilities

While The Byre doesn’t have a full kitchen, we've equipped a well-stocked pantry cupboard to ensure you feel right at home.

You’ll find a Nespresso machine, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, and toaster. We also provide tea bags, Nespresso pods, sugar, and fresh milk to welcome you upon arrival.

Bathroom and toiletries

Adjacent to the bedroom is a spacious bathroom featuring a rain shower and a hand-held shower over a full-size bath. We’ll provide freshly laundered face cloths, hand towels, and bath sheets for your convenience.

To make your stay feel just like home, we offer Shower Wash, Hand Wash, and Hand Lotion from one of our favorite organic brands.

Bedroom

The bedroom is a spacious and tranquil retreat, featuring a luxurious king-size mahogany sleigh bed dressed in crisp cotton linens, with extra blankets available for added comfort.
The room includes a dressing table with a mirror, a chest of drawers, and a shelf with hooks and hangers to meet all your storage needs. For your convenience, we provide a hairdryer, cotton wool pads, and cotton buds. An iron and ironing board are also available upon request.
